Condusal Awarded ABA's Highest Honor

The Silver-Gold BiMedal is the highest honor in our association, and it is reserved for those companies that exemplify a commitment to excellence in bimetallic applications.  Awarded annually, the American Bimetallic Association would like to recognize the pioneering efforts of Condusal, SA., from the nation of El Salvador as the 2019 award recipient.  Condusal is a family owned electrical wire and cable manufacturer that recently completed 25 years in business.  For nearly half of that time, Condusal has promoted and developed an extraordinary electrical conductor business using bimetallic wire and cable as the core conductor.  The company is recognized as having reintroduced an electrical conductor, Class THHN made with Copper Clad Aluminum, that had been nascent in the world market since 1978.  Due to the forward thinking of Condusal’s owner, Mr. Jaime Fuente, as well as the company’s GM, Mr. Rodrigo O’Byrne, the product was successfully re-introduced with CCA to the world in 2009 after several months of development.  Condusal has been working continually with bimetallics since 2006.  For this monumental effort, the ABA bestows upon Condusal its highest honor:  The Silver-Gold BiMedal.
